Never mind, I dragged myself to my intake appointment. All of this took me about a month and a half to sort out, so I was without therapy during this time and my condition deteriorated. I then had to get back into contact with my abusive father who I had gone NC with in order to pay for their programs because of how expensive they were. But never mind, I broke up with her, as requested, so that I could sign on with Clearview. However, I had wanted to keep my therapist on, just in case things with Clearview didn't work out, since I had had issues with therapists in the past (for instance reacting poorly to my sexual assault). After our initial consultation, they made me "break up" with my current therapist before doing an official intake with them, for somewhat understandable reasons, because they felt that having someone else in the wings would interfere with my treatment. This past summer I had been communicating on and off with Clearview Treatment Center. I just wanted to let you know about my experience with Clearview Treatment Center, so that you can find a better place to go, that is more considerate towards their patients.
